Valley Vets Latrobe is a locally owned, husband and wife veterinary team caring for pets across the Latrobe Valley. Dr Duncan Borland and Dr Glenene Borland have each spent around the last 10 years working in and around the Valley, and in 2023 they launched Valley Vets Latrobe as a mobile vet service to make quality care easier, calmer, and way less stressful for pets and their people.

Since then, they’ve been hitting the road and coming straight to you, delivering trusted, down-to-earth vet care in the comfort of your own home. No stressful car trips, no crowded waiting rooms. Just familiar faces, a gentle approach, and plenty of patience for the chonky, the nervous, and the slightly dramatic.

And while we love being mobile, we’re pretty excited to share that a physical Valley Vets Latrobe clinic is on the way, with plans to open in Morwell in 2026. Same friendly team, same care you know and trust – just with a front door you can walk through. More details soon.

Wellness Checks and Vaccinations

We offer thorough health checks and vaccinations through our mobile service, making it easy to stay on top of your pet’s health without the clinic stress. Once our Morwell clinic opens, you’ll also be able to pop in and see us there for these services and more.

Sick or Injured Pets & Chronic Disease Management

If your pet is feeling off or has injured themselves, we can come to you and get them checked out at home. We’re able to treat most conditions on the spot, manage long-term health issues, and once the clinic is open, provide hospital care if your pet needs a little extra support.

Euthanasia and Cremation

When it’s time to say goodbye, we’re here to make the process as calm and gentle as possible. We offer in-home euthanasia and can arrange cremation through Edenhills, guiding you through everything with care, compassion, and plenty of time.

Surgery, Dentals and Other Procedures

Some procedures need a bit more equipment, and right now these are carried out through trusted local clinic facilities. When our Morwell clinic opens, many surgeries, dentals, imaging, and procedures will be available in-house, keeping your pet’s care simple and seamless.

Rang the valley vets yesterday and Duncan was really nice and caring for our dog ruby he put my partner at ease as well as looked after Ruby which had to be put down he showed compassion and kindness and respect also took his time which was fantastic would highly recommend him for any veterinary care John and joy
